Jeffrey Wood was born in San Diego, CA in 1959. He received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Colorado
at Boulder (1982) and a Master's Degree from the University of California at Berkeley (1986). Before opening
his private practice in September 1991, he worked for Designer's Collective Inc. (Emeryville, CA) and
Gary Earl Parsons, AIA (Berkeley, CA).
Jeffrey Wood Architects has an extensive client list, and we have completed numerous projects in most Bay Area
cities, as well as mountain communities in California and Colorado. We have worked successfully with many
planning, zoning and building departments from Oakland, Berkeley, Piedmont and San Francisco, to Marin, Walnut
Creek and Truckee.
In addition to architecture, I enjoy writing and have extensive experience as a baseball coach. I am a
co-founder of the Oakland Baseball Club,
which fields 3 teams for college-bound and college-level baseball players in the Bay Area.
