MEISS/RUDY ALTERATIONS A second story addition that transformed a dark canyon residence surrounded by towering redwoods into a light-filled space, celebrating the home's rise above the tree canopy. A barrel vaulted ceiling, flanked on either end with skylights, transforms the formerly dark hall into a two-story stairwell/lightwell that reaches nearly every corner of the residence.
