THE NEST AT ROGER'S WOODS
A mere stone's throw from Rocky Mountain National Park, this former weekend fishing cabin in the woods was transformed into a family lodge capable of sleeping nearly 20 and entertaining upwards of 60, while still retaining the cozy warmth of a quiet family retreat.

Hand hewn timbers cut from the lodge pole pines lost to the Western pine beetle on the site start the scrapbook of stories that fill this multi generational getaway.
[Materials: Pine floor, aspen ceiling, railroad rail (beams), hand hewn "beetle-kill" pine posts and beams, honed granite countertops, wood plank bath counter]
(Tom Larva, Builder)
